Project – Release into the wild –
Jump into freedom
The release of our four animals into the wild was a success
Our two ibex and two kids, Sperli, Xaver, Siri and Gerti, were captured on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 in the enclosure of the BunkerMooseum in Moos under veterinary supervision and in cooperation with the forestry authority. The largest ibex received a collar with a transmitter and all animals were provided with ear tags. They were then taken to the Fartleistal near St. Martin in Passeier on the same day. In the presence of State Councilor Arnold Schuler, the forestry authority and some interested hunters and their relatives, the ibexes were finally released into the wild.
Several media representatives from the country were also there to capture the event.
We would like to thank everyone who supported us in any way with this campaign!
