The Pass Museum is towering like a single rock directly at the Timmelsjoch Pass, across the border from Italy to Austria and at the same time connecting the two Tyrolean regions. In recognition of the remarkable achievements of the engineers of the mountain pass, the museum tells the story of the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road from the first cut of the spade to completion.
The exhibition also provides interesting facts about the golden age of trade via the Timmelsjoch between the early 13th and late 15th century, via an abc book from pre-Christian times and much more.
