Formative events in the region, history and stories are presented. The remote mountain village became a border town as a result of the First World War. Two barracks were erected, the construction of the Timmelsjoch military road brought over a thousand workers into the area. The bunker complex was built and the important connection to the \u00d6tztal Valley was broken.
